The award-winning host of ABC’s daytime, all-female, talk show, “The View,” has added her name to the growing list of Democrat Party candidates for the Presidency.
In a statement released by ABC, Joy Behar said, “Trump is an ogre. Orange Man is a danger to the nation. He colluded with the Russians to get elected, making him a traitor. He can no long be allowed to be our President. I mean, I’ve got nothing against him personally, but he’s a very bad man and represents a clear and present danger to America.”
One of Behar’s routine panel members on “The View,” Caryn Elaine Johnson (AKA Whoopi Goldberg) endorsed Behar’s candidacy.
When “Whoopi” saw a photo of a younger Behar in blackface, Whoopi exclaimed, “Is that you? Really? Well, it shows that Joy can identify with African-Americans, unlike Trump, who has, as far as we know, never appeared in blackface. He just dyes his hair orange.”
When Caryn Elaine was asked how she got her stage name “Whoopie,” according to Google, an unbiased and accurate source, she said it was taken from a whoopee cushion: “When you’re performing on stage, you never really have time to go into the bathroom and close the door. So, if you get a little gassy, you’ve got to let it go. So, people used to say to me, ‘You’re like a whoopee cushion.’”
In a related development, Comedian and Film Maker Michael Moore is hinting that he, too, may enter the POTUS race as a Democrat.
Although the photo below cannot be discounted as a possible picture of Moore in blackface, this reporter can neither attest to, not deny, its credibility.
Sure looks like Moore, though.
