How to Win An Election

With the primary elections fast approaching and with more rookies stepping up to the plate to run for political office, many of us realize that we do not know how to win an election. Tea Party groups, 912ers, We the People, and many other conservative groups do not have the deep pockets of the establishment and cannot afford to hire the “experienced” and high priced consultants and campaign managers. My introduction to politics was on April 15, 2009 at a Tea Party rally in Sulphur Springs, Texas, therefore I knew absolutely nothing about campaigning. So, how do we run successful campaigns and win elections?

Tea Party Watchdog Training

The Clear Lake Tea Party of Texas has developed an excellent program to hold politicians accountable. The program and documentation may be edited and adapted for any Tea Party group in the United States.

"Tea Party Watchdog Program in a Box"

This watchdog program does not cost anything, engages your membership, allows your tea party to focus your resources as issue come up, is scalable to your specific tea party membership, and can be run independently from any other tea party.  There is no central command or top down infrastructure.  This is a bottom up process from the membership that cements the pact between general tea party members who want to be involved and have there voices heard and the tea party planning function (in our case an Executive Board).

True the Vote Training

Vote fraud attacks the heart of our political system and threatens our rights as citizens. When True the Vote began monitoring elections last fall in Houston, we were shocked at the fraud we discovered. Precinct judges often failed to check voters IDs, and some even filled out ballots to "help" people vote. These violations are just the tip of a very large and ugly iceberg. If you are one of the millions of Americans outraged by corruption at the highest levels of our nation's government, then you can help us stop fraud where it begins – at the polling place, in the precinct where you live, in the streets of your city.
