Saddle Up Texas Straw Poll 2012
Texas holds a rich and diverse landscape of people from all walks of life that have genuine concerns about traditional values of moral decency, responsibility in government, and sound constitutional principles being preserved and uplifted in our Texas and American societies.
Despite Texas' apparent political clout as holder of the second largest delegation to the Electoral College and the second largest population in the United States, its position in the primary election, which is governed by political parties, is significantly and detrimentally out of balance to its general election influence.
Texas is a critically vital part of the U.S. economy, currently providing a statistically and disproportionately high contribution to the nation's job growth, GDP, and positive production across nearly every sector of the free market. In 2010, Texas created more jobs than all other states combined. Texas is the 14th largest economy in the world as of 2009.
Citizens from every corner of Texas have come together to bring Texas' influence forward as an integral part of the national primary election process through a grassroots organized presidential straw poll, called the Saddle Up Texas Straw Poll, which is designed to give Texans an appropriate voice in the Primary.

The Minute Maid Park, with a capacity of 45,000, has been secured as the location for a three day grassroots event, January 12-14, 2012, designed to bring in regular people from all walks of life throughout Texas and the nation to hear presidential candidates, participate in a straw poll, and gain inspiration from nationally known figures, and popular leaders, as part of an opportunity to engage fellow Americans in their country’s election process. The organization hopes to make Texans’ primary election vote known.
