Boehner Team Calls TEA Party Members “Insane Asylum,” “Extremists” - Go Figure

In a crushing blow to Speaker John A. Boehner, GOP leaders were forced to pull his “plan B” tax measure from the floor at the eleventh hour as it became clear his conference would refuse to support it.

Unable to bring his fellow Republicans along on a measure that would allow tax rates to rise on millionaires, and with Democrats vowing to block the bill, the Ohio Republican issued a statement Thursday night pushing responsibility to find the way forward squarely on to President Barack Obama and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada. Does Benghazi probe drop unintentional bombshell?

TEL AVIV – The results of an independent investigation released this week probing the Benghazi attack contains information indicating the U.S. mission in Libya was involved in activities outside the diplomatic realm.

The 39-page document uses phraseology and descriptions not previously utilized to describe the facility and the role it may have played in Benghazi.

Editor's Note on Gun Control

The 2nd Amendment simply states, "A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed."

George Mason, co-author of the 2nd Amendment said, "[W]hen the resolution of enslaving America was formed in Great Britain, the British Parliament was advised by an artful man, who was governor of Pennsylvania, to disarm the people; that it was the best and most effectual way to enslave them; but that they should not do it openly, but weaken them, and let them sink gradually...I ask, who are the militia? They consist of now of the whole people, except a few public officers. But I cannot say who will be the militia of the future day. If that paper on the table gets no alteration, the militia of the future day may not consist of all classes, high and low, and rich and poor..."

I'll say this, gun control is not about controlling crime, it is about controlling people.

Gary Wood put it well when he said, "If the founders had no concern the federal government could grow tyrannical there would have been no reason for them to put in the 2nd Amendment as part of the contract being formed between the sovereign states and the newly formed, limited federal government. Tyranny was a major concern since the founders knew the habit of man was a habit of seeking power and authority over their fellow man. The right of citizens of a nation to keep and bear arms was necessary!"

Any law passed by the federal government prohibiting United States citizens to keep and bear arms is a clear violation of the 2nd Amendment to the Constitution. Period. End of story.

Let's put it another way. The 2nd Amendment was also designed to protect us against any tyrannical government. Could you imagine Germany having the authority of telling the United States what weapons they could use during World War II? What is the difference of a tyrannical United States government telling US citizens how and if they are allowed to be armed? I rest my case.

Patriot of the Year

Catherine Englebrecht - TEAParty911.com's Patriot of the Year

Catherine Engelbrecht has taken citizen journalism and activism to the next level. She is leading the way in striving to make sure that all US elections are free, fair, and transparent. This flies in the face of efforts by the institutional left and Obama’s Attorney General Eric Holder to suppress wildly popular voter ID legislation.

In 2009 Catherine started True the Vote, a citizen led effort to restore honor and integrity to our electoral system. True the Vote educates voters, researches the veracity of voter registries, trains and mobilizes volunteers to work in polling places, and advocates for comprehensive election code reform legislation.

Catherine stepped out in faith to defend our Country – and she believes she's right where she's supposed to be. Catherine Engelbrecht is the first to be designated by TEAParty911.com as a "re-founder" of the United States of America and is our choice for “Patriot of the Year”.

Catherine Engelbrecht, we salute you!

True the Vote is an initiative developed by citizens for citizens, meant to inspire and equip volunteers for involvement at every stage of our electoral process. True the Vote promotes ideas that actively protect the rights of legitimate voters, regardless of their political party affiliation.

True the Vote is a 100% private nonprofit organization and relies exclusively on the generosity of citizens like you to conduct research and to train and organize poll watching volunteers across America.

Unfortunately, Americans have lost faith in the integrity of our nation's election results and fraud and law-breaking has become all too common in our electoral system. True the Vote hops to change that perception. True the Vote is a citizen-led effort to restore truth, faith, and integrity to our elections.

If you support election integrity, please get involved and make a Donation to True the Vote.
