Texas Patriot of the Month:
The Patriot of the Month for July is not a man or woman, but a group of men and women. This group is all about respect. The profound respect that this group shows our military service men and women is unparalleled and quite humbling. There were several processions in east Texas in June for fallen military heroes who died while serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. At each and every one of these processions from the airport to the funeral home, this group was there providing escort; not just a few people, but in some cases, hundreds of people. This group of patriots arrives at airports across the country and escorts our fallen heroes to their respective final places of rest which in some cases is over 100 miles in 100+ degree temperature. For the respect and honor shown to our military men and women, the Patriot of the Month goes to the Patriot Guard Riders. ~ See the Patriot Guard Riders of North Texas Calendar

Your tax dollars at work - does it make you proud? This is just one week. Our legislators took a pledge to justify every congressional act constitutionally. Do you think all of these or next week’s have any constitutional justification? Regulatory agencies took no such pledge. Who do you think spends most of your tax dollars, real or borrowed? Get rid of them. They are “Extra Constitutional.” ~ ed
