VOCAL Endorses Ken Paxton for Texas Speaker
January 3, 2011
VOCAL SUPPORTS PAXTON FOR TEXAS SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE

Rep. Ken Paxton |
As a newly formed PAC in East Texas, “Voice Of Conservatism And Liberty” (VOCAL) has, in executive meeting, weighed and contrasted the voting records of Ken Paxton and Joe Strauss. VOCAL has determined that Ken Paxton would be the more CONSERVATIVE Speaker of the House. We have reviewed the voting record of Rep. Joe Strauss and determined that he has WINDWARD aspirations, according to which way the political wind is blowing. We believe that Ken Paxton would remain loyal to CONSERVATIVE principals. Therefore VOCAL supports Ken Paxton for Speaker of the House and encourages all Texas House members to vote accordingly.

Joe Straus vs. Matt Beebe
We lost the battle of getting Ken Paxton elected as the Texas Speaker of the House for the 82nd legislature, but that does not mean we have given up.
We now are working to not only prevent Joe Straus from becoming the Texas Speaker of the House for the 83rd legislature, but to prevent his re-election to the Texas House of Representatives.
TEAParty911.com founder, Michael Kinzie has endorsed Matt Beebe in HD-121 and we are all working hard to get Beebe elected to rid the House of Representatives of Joe Straus.
To see how you can help, please go to Matt Beebe's page on our site.
