SHOCKING VIDEOS: Pete Sessions Supports Amnesty to ‘Accommodate’ Illegal Aliens for ‘Right Reasons’

A series of videos from several town halls in 2013 have surfaced showing that Rep. Pete Sessions (R-TX) supports amnesty for illegal aliens, despite claims from his re-election campaign that he is against allowing illegal aliens stay in America.

In the videos, Sessions frames his support for amnesty as granting legal status to illegal aliens who are not violent criminals—but somehow not citizenship, even though anyone who obtains a green card is allowed to eventually apply for citizenship. Sessions described such an amnesty as aiming to “accommodate” illegal aliens, “millions of people who are here for the right reasons.” He also said that he thinks “the vast majority of people who are here” as long as they are “here truly for the right reason,” should and “would be welcomed.”
“I believe that my colleagues in the House have on a sheet of paper designed a system that would accommodate millions of people who are here for the right reasons, millions of people who today may be illegal—illegally here—but who would be handled fairly under a process,” Sessions is seen saying on one video from 2013.

Mitch McConnell: Debt Man

BREAKING NEW VIDEO: Battleground Texas Illegally Copying Voter Data

McConnell’s Ideology of Pay-for-Play on Display Again

Like most establishment Republicans, Mitch McConnell is not a liberal or a conservative; his ideology is power.  He will stand for whatever helps grease the skids of his pay-for-play career.  If that means pushing a conservative idea one day, he’ll readily do so.  But if that means quietly growing government, he will oblige in a second.

The latest example of his pay-for-play is a story from the Louisville Courier Journal detailing his campaign finance operation pushing federal funds to a failed algae energy factory in return for campaign cash.

Here’s the U.S. Army’s $96 Million, 300-Acre Fake City in Virginia — Complete With Subway Station, Football Stadium and Mosque — for Terrorism Combat Training

The U.S. Army has constructed an elaborate fake city in Virginia designed for terrorism combat training, spanning 300 acres and complete with a five-story embassy, a bank, a school, an underground subway and train station, a mosque, a football stadium and a helicopter landing zone, the U.K. Telegraph reported.

Located in Fort A.P. Hill, Va., according to the Fredricksburg Free Lance-Star, less than an hour north of Richmond, the facility includes bridges and other other structures that can be adapted for specific purposes and scenarios.

Ohio National Guard Training Envisions Right-Wing Terrorism

Documents from an Ohio National Guard (ONG) training drill conducted last January reveal the details of a mock disaster where Second Amendment supporters with “anti-government” opinions were portrayed as domestic terrorists.

The ONG 52nd Civil Support Team training scenario involved a plot from local school district employees to use biological weapons in order to advance their beliefs about “protecting Gun Rights and Second Amendment rights.”

Portsmouth Chief of Police Bill Raisin told NBC 3 WSAZ-TV in Huntington, West Virginia that the drill accurately represented “the reality of the world we live in,” adding that such training “helps us all be prepared.”

We’re Being Played Like Fools

If there is any agreement on fiscal issues in Washington it is that we must do something about the growing debt and long-term unfunded liabilities.  With the debt exploding by over $6.6 trillion under Obama’s watch, the only leverage conservatives had to force a path to balance the budget was the debt ceiling – a built-in check on runaway spending.  Yet, ever since they took over Congress in 2011, establishment Republicans have worked to abolish the debt ceiling.

Moving forward, Republicans have now set a precedent in which the debt ceiling will now be something that must be avoided instead of something we can embrace.   With Obama’s record growth of the federal debt and his past statements against raising the debt ceiling, this is precisely the issue to bludgeon him with before an election. But, alas, that opportunity has been lost.  All of Boehner’s talk about “the Boehner Rule,” which called for dollar-for-dollar cuts, was lost the day he adopted Obama’s false talking point about default on debt.

True the Vote founder Catherine Engelbrecht fire back at the House IRS hearings

Engelbrecht Unloads on the Honorable Elijah Cummings

This week's IRS hearing by Congressional Oversight Committee were quite lively. The Democratic talking point was faux outrage at payback to the honorable Elijah Cummings, ranking member, delivered by Catherine Engelbrecht of True the Vote. It seems that Cummings sent her three missives on committee letterhead that Engelbrecht correctly interpreted as intimidation. How else was she to interpret them, coming as they did on the heels of years of abuse by government agencies, and raising the specter of a congressional investigation into alleged voter suppression, a code name for racism?

Apparently having had enough, Engelbrecht and her lawyer, Cleta Mitchell, delivered an in-your-face in the form of a formal complaint filed with the Office of Congressional Ethics alleging an abuse of power.

Their reward was renewed badgering, including a series of questions based on a "study" that strongly implied True the Vote's motivation for purging voter rolls and sending observers to polling places is racist. When in doubt, play the race card. But not as intimidation, of course. Engelbrecht had Cummings' "assurance" on that.

Ken Paxton for Texas Attorney General

According to Senator Ted Cruz, “Ken Paxton is a tireless conservative warrior.” Paxton is running for Texas Attorney General. As all of us know, we may not live in Texas, but Texas affects us and we all probably secretly or not so secretly want to live there.

Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott frequently describes his workday as, “I go into the office, I sue the federal government and I go home.” In fact, Abbott had filed 27 cases against President Obama’s administration as of the launch of his Gubernatorial bid last year. There can be no doubt as to the significant power that the Texas Attorney General wields against federal intrusion and lawlessness. Moreover, the future leadership of Texas is now being re-shaped as Governor Perry steps down. It’s imperative that Texas have strong conservative leadership – because as Texas goes, so goes America.

As a result, it is of interest to each of us who next holds that office. It’s a race Ken Paxton needs to win.

Straus wants tolls, higher taxes, Beebe to keep freeways free

Speaker Joe Straus (R - Dist 121) is a master at kicking the can down the road. After three sessions as Speaker of the Texas House, Straus has failed to properly fund the state highway system. At the commencement of the 83rd regular session last year, he promised to end diversions of the gas tax and to make funding infrastructure - both roads and water - a priority. Neither happened.

Instead, Straus punted the funding of infrastructure to the voters with two constitutional amendment elections. After three expensive special sessions, the Texas legislature finally agreed upon a transportation funding bill that will go to the voters for approval in November. During the second special session, Express-News Austin Bureau Chief Peggy Fikac tweeted that Straus was telling senators he wants a transportation crisis in 2015 to increase pressure for taxes. So crisis creation and crisis management describe Straus’ leadership style.

Texas State Senator Bob Deuell & Obamacare Death Panels

Texas State Senator Bob Deuell authored SB 303 which would have granted hospitals the power to impose denial-of-care directives, such as "do not attempt resuscitation" (DNAR), against patients without their consent and without even giving them written notice. Fortunately, the bill was defeated, but Senator Deuell is up for reelection and Texans must remember this bill when they hit the voting booths.

Texas State Senator Bob "Dr. Death" Deuell

The AAPS (Association of American Physicians and Surgeons) apply named the bill the "Right for Hospitals to Deny Care Act".

Senator Bob Deuell has a primary challenger - constitutional conservative Bob Hall.
