Nick Long acquired a great deal of experience dealing with school and municipalities in his position as President and CFO of a public sector benefits firm. In this position, Mr. Long has worked tirelessly to provide better benefits and wages for teachers while reducing the burdens on taxpayers.

Mr. Long, a resident of League City, graduated from Clear Creek High School and University of Texas. Nick and his wife, Kari Prendergrast Long, are raising their family in their home town of League City, Texas. Both are very well liked and respected in their community, where they have served long hours as volunteers in schools, libraries, and for their church.

His involvement with the CCISD District Educational Improvement Committee, and Student Health Advisory Committee, has given him the experience needed to improve student education while revealing issues that need to be addressed to continue the excellence in education that our children deserve.

Mr. Long's commitment to fiscal responsibility as well as his actual plan to save taxpayer's significant amounts of money are just more reasons why Clear Lake Tea Party requests your support of Nick Long.
