Press Release: The Clear Lake Tea Party is proud to endorse one of our very own, Eva Brown, in her candidacy for LaPorte Independent School District School Board, At Large Position 1. Eva Brown is an experienced retired educator with 26 years of teaching experience, is a resident of LaPorte, Texas, and has been a very active activist for a number of years.

Eva Brown received her Associate Arts degree and majored in Elementary Education while receiving her minor in Spanish at San Jacinto Junior College Central Campus. Ms. Brown graduated cum laude from the University of Houston in 1985, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Elementary Education and Bilingual Education. In addition to a Bachelor of Science degree, Ms. Brown received a bilingual endorsement, as well as a level one and level two processing technology endorsements from the University of Houston. She also received a Master of Science degree in 1993 from the University of Houston where she graduated with honors, majoring in Instructional Computing and Design.

Ms. Brown has twelve years experience teaching Computer Science and Computer Information Systems at San Jacinto Jr. College, Central Campus. While teaching as San Jacinto College she served as the Department Chair for the Computer Information Systems Department for six years. She also served on the Curriculum Committee at San Jacinto College for five years. Eva is also a Microsoft Certified Professional. She has certifications in Computer Networking, Computer Operating Systems, as well as Cisco Routers and Cisco Operating Systems.
