On January 23, as Democrat Impeachment Managers Congressmen Adam Schiff and Jerry Nadler presented their party’s case for the impeachment of Trump in the U.S. Senate chamber, several unidentified Senators struggled to following their arguments.
In photos taken from the gallery, two legislators were captured in Zen positions focusing on the complex arguments of house Democrats.
The third picture, that of a female legislator on a stretcher, not yet confirmed to be Democrat Senator Mazie K. Hirono of Hawaii, accidentally hit her head on her desk when she fell asleep during Nadler’s presentation.
She was examined at a local D.C. hospital and found to have no head or neck injuries that required further treatment.
