Bob Hall Will “Fight for Taxpayers,” says Sullivan
In advance of the 2014 elections, taxpayer watchdog group Texans for Fiscal Responsibility today endorsed Bob Hall for Texas Senate District 2.
“As a citizen-activist, Bob Hall has proven himself to be a strong conservative leader willing to fight for taxpayers and make government accountable to the people. Bob Hall has become a tireless champion for the commonsense values Texas families hold most dear. With Bob Hall in the senate, the people of Texas would have a fighter willing to take on Austin’s special interests,” said Michael Quinn Sullivan, president of Texans for Fiscal Responsibility.
“I am honored and humbled to receive the endorsement of Texans for Fiscal Responsibility,” said Bob Hall upon learning of the endorsement, “I am in complete agreement with Michael Quinn Sullivan that we must start applying common sense solutions to reign-in the out-of-control state spending by our incumbent legislators. The unprecedented 24% increase in spending approved by the 83rd Texas Legislature is irresponsible and unsustainable.”
Hall added, “Texas does not have a revenue problem. Texas a spending problem. Texas spends far too much money on pet projects and boondoggles outside the proper core functions of state government. This must change.”
